Bio
Hi everyone! My name is Claire Lambert and I am the K-3 Resource Teacher for Elba Elementary. I am entering my 8th year in education. I came to Elba Elementary in 2018 where I taught first grade and kindergarten. Prior to coming to Elba, I had experience teaching in a First Class Pre-K Program. But in 2021 I found my true passion and became a special education teacher.
I am a graduate of New Brockton High School (Class of 2012). I then continued my education at the University of Alabama, where I graduated in 2015 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2017, I completed my Masters in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Alabama. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Special Education.
I am married to Brock, who is an Elba Graduate of the Class of 2010. We welcomed our first child, Briggs, in September of 2021. We also have a very spoiled dog named Cooper! When I am not at school, I love to be outside, read, and do arts and crafts. I also enjoy vacationing and going to the beach. We are also members of Elba First Baptist Church. In the fall, I love to cheer on my Alma Mater (Roll Tide!), and come spring I enjoy watching the Atlanta Braves.
