Pre-registration for the 2026–2027 school year begins January 15 and runs through March 20!

Eligible children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026, and be Alabama residents.

Winter Break is a great time to reset and get ready for a strong return to school. A few simple steps at home can help students come back refreshed, focused, and ready to learn. Take time over the break to clean out backpacks, wash jackets and shoes, practice reading and math skills, and keep healthy routines in place. Small habits now can make a big difference later! We look forward to welcoming our Tigers back recharged and ready for the new semester. 🐅💛🖤

Thank You, Community Partners! We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Elba Fire Department and the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, along with Keelie Moseley and Emmy Eldridge from the Elba High School Varsity Cheerleaders, for helping make this morning so special for our elementary students. Seeing Santa, the Grinch, and their helpers welcoming students to school brought lots of smiles and excitement. A special thank you to Ms. Alayna Cook for organizing and coordinating this wonderful event. It was truly a great morning at Elba City Schools, and we are grateful for the support of our school and community family

Mrs. Pasteen helped Mrs. Bivins’ Pre-K class create the sweetest Christmas ornaments, and our little learners had such a fun and festive time! 🎄✨

The students loved getting hands-on, using their creativity to make something special to take home and share with their families. Activities like this bring so much joy to our classrooms and make the holiday season extra meaningful. We are so thankful for teachers who work together to create memorable moments and spread Christmas cheer throughout our school! 💕🎨🎄

Christmas Spirit Week – Monday Fun! ✨🎄 We were a little too busy having fun today to stop and take a ton of pictures 📸😂 Between the smiles, laughter, and Christmas cheer, we may have missed a few moments… but trust us, it was a GREAT start to Spirit Week! Here are just a few snapshots of the fun we did manage to catch ❤️🎅🎄 Stay tuned—there’s plenty more holiday cheer coming all week long!

We enjoyed a great performance from both our Elba Elementary Band and Elba High School Marching Tiger Band at their Christmas concert yesterday!

It’s that time again! Next week, our students will be taking the Winter iReady Math & Reading Diagnostic Tests. We need your help to make sure our Tigers are ready to shine! 🐯💛

Testing Schedule:
📌 Math Diagnostic:
• Monday, December 8, 2025
• Tuesday, December 9, 2025

📌 Reading Diagnostic:
• Wednesday, December 10, 2025
• Thursday, December 11, 2025

These tests are critical—they help us track student progress and plan for instruction. We already know we have some of the smartest students around, and now we need the data to prove it! 📊✨

💛 How You Can Help:
• Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep 😴
• Ensure they eat a healthy breakfast (school breakfast is served daily) 🍎
• Have them arrive on time ⏰
• Encourage them to take their time, read carefully, and try their BEST!

Please remind your child:
⭐ Completing the test first does NOT earn rewards.
⭐ Clicking through answers or rushing won’t help them.
⭐ What matters most is EFFORT and doing their very best.

Students who try their best, don’t rush, and show growth on BOTH tests will earn a cookies & candy treat when ALL testing has been completed! 🍪🍬
