Mrs. Ellis’s kindergartener group had a blast during center time as they worked on letter identification in fun, hands-on ways! They rotated through: • Letter Launchers • Treasure Letter Hunt • Letter Builder • Etch-a-Letter Flip Every child was engaged, learning, and having fun while building early literacy skills. If you are able we ask that if your child rides purple bus to try and find another way of transportation for them in the morning. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience!

Planning to check out your child at the Pep Rally on Friday? Please read carefully:

• No checkouts in the front office after 2:00 PM
• From 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, you must check out your child with Mrs. Tillis at the High School Gym
• No checkouts will be allowed after 2:45 PM

After 2:45 PM, all students must be picked up in the car line.
We appreciate your help in keeping students safe and organized during school events!

Please make plans to attend!

Elba Elementary will be closed on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day. We hope all of our students, families, and staff enjoy a safe and restful long weekend! School will resume on Tuesday, September 2.

Elba Elementary School will dismiss at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 29th.

Please make arrangements for early pickup.
